Did you ever wish of watching your fave tv program on your idle (and i mean really IDLE) time at work? Are you an OFW who's a bit(?) homesick and doesn't have access to Filipino channels while working abroad? Give this post a minute of reading coz i'll be sharing to you something.
We'll the good news is, as i was strolling the "net avenue" today, i stumbled upon a site which offers video and tv streaming. And the better news is... ABS-CBN Kapamilya TV, a leading Philippine tv network is available for streaming.
The reception is "just acceptable" and the broadcast is delayed by several minutes (well at least it's almost live)...but what the heck... it's FREE. To enjoy streaming, you need to have the proper browser plug-ins and codec. If you are using Firefox, download Windows Media Player plug-in to successfully stream the broadcast. To watch other broadcasts besides ABS-CBN, you can find the site HERE.
